Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hire Africa ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. Talent accounts are reserved for individuals based in Africa who are eligible to work remotely. Agency or company accounts posing as individuals will be removed.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Only one account per person is permitted. You agree to provide accurate, current information.

4. Platform Use

Hire Africa is a recruitment and workforce management platform that connects employers with African talent.

Hire Africa does not employ talent directly, act as an employer of record, facilitate payments between employers and talent, provide escrow services, or participate in the delivery of services.

All employment arrangements, contracts, compensation, payments, and working relationships are entered into directly between the employer and the talent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Creating multiple or fraudulent accounts
• Misrepresenting your identity, location, or qualifications
• Posting spam, offensive content, or illegal material
• Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid fees
• Harassing other users

6. Content & Profiles

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting, you grant Hire Africa a non-exclusive license to display your profile and content on the Platform. We reserve the right to remove profiles that do not meet our quality standards.

7. Fees & Payments

Employer subscription fees are as listed on our pricing page.

Subscription fees provide access to Hire Africa's platform, candidate discovery tools, and workforce management features. Subscription fees are non-refundable once access to the Platform has been granted, except in cases of billing errors or where required by applicable law.

Hire Africa does not process payments between employers and talent and is not responsible for compensation, payroll, invoices, or financial arrangements between users.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hire Africa is provided "as is." We are not liable for any disputes between employers and talent, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Disputes Between Users

Hire Africa is not a party to any employment agreement, freelance engagement, or commercial arrangement between employers and talent.

Users are solely responsible for resolving disputes relating to employment, compensation, work performed, contractual obligations, or service delivery.

Hire Africa may investigate reports of fraud, misrepresentation, or violations of these Terms and may take action including account suspension or termination.
